She is survived by: her sister Wilma Gene; her children, David Powers (Tonna) and Janis Powers (Kelly Work); her grandchildren, Alex Powers, Chandra Powers Wersch (Jared), Andrew Powers (Kallie), Michael Work and Elizabeth Work; her great grandchildren, Avelyn Powers, Karsyn Powers and Addisyn Powers; Hattie (Williams).
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM at the Arensberg Pruett Funeral Home (208 N 5th St, Atchison, KS 66002). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Benedict Church (1000 N 2nd St, Atchison, KS 66002).
