We are sad to announce that on November 12, 2023, at the age of 88, Doris Marie Smith of Atchison, Kansas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Lawrence G. Watowa and Phoebe Watowa (Thrift); and her brothers, Robert Watowa, Orville Watowa and James Watowa.

She is survived by : her children, Sheryl Sanders (Terry) of Cummings, KS, Beverly Kentzler (David) of Atchison, KS and Tom Smith (Melinda) of Rushville, MO; and her brothers, Jerome Watowa of Topeka, KS and Donald Watowa of Sterling, AK. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.

Memorials are suggested to St. Benedict Catholic School or Operation Smile and may be left in care of Arensberg-Pruett Funeral Home with whom final care has been entrusted.
