It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Joan Schuetz of Atchison, Kansas, born in Robinson, Kansas, who passed away on January 15, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her fathers, Mose Walters and Cecil Bland Walters; her nephew Russ Walters; her brother Dean Walters (Richard Schuetz); and her nephew Terrance Schuetz.

She is survived by : her daughters, Debra Schuetz Balda and Nicole Schuetz; her grandchildren, Tiffany Smith, Natalie Balda, Jessica, Shawn Anderson and Haley Ward; and her great grandchildren, Rial Smith, Morrissey Smith, Isaiah Anderson and Jesse Anderson.
