She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Hayes and Berniece Hayes (Biggenwalt); and her siblings, Norman Hayes, Walter Hayes, Patty Negonsott and Barbara Gilliland.
She is survived by: her husband Raymond Prohaska; and her children, Rick (Rhonda Cairo), Michael (Roberta Cairo), Frank (Paula Prohaska), Angela (Keith Clemens), Christy (Derek Noll) and James (Stephanie Prohaska). She is also survived by her nineteen grandchildren and nineteen great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Pruett Funeral Home (208 N 5th St, Atchison, KS 66002).
Judy tragically lost a family member, Marc Beyer, and would direct any memorial donations in her memory to assist with his expenses and can be left to the Arensberg-Pruett Funeral Home who will be assisting the family.
