He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence "Bud" Boos and Patricia "Pat" Boos; his sister Patricia Scherer; and his in-laws, Patrick, Lillian Hegarty, Pat, Julie Hegarty and Michael Hegarty.
He is survived by: his wife Sheila Boos; his children, Abby Martin (Efrain), Nicholas Boos and Lillian Paige Boos; his grandchildren, Elijah Martin, Ean Martin, Alise Martin, Addalynn Martin, Lailie Duran and Killian Hamilton; his siblings, David Boos (Rita), Janet Boos, Jerry Boos (Carol), John Boos, Thomas Boos (Barbara) and Mark Boos; his cousin Diane Pickman (Steve); and his siblings-in-law, Victoria Hegarty, Mary Perkins (Joseph), Timothy Hegarty and Terri Hegarty.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 7th 2025 from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM at the Arensberg-Pruett Funeral Home (208 N 5th St, Atchison, KS 66002). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, July 8th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Benedict Church (1000 N 2nd St, Atchison, KS 66002).
Memorial contributions may be made to Giving NuHope, St. John's Oratory or Amberwell Atchison Hospice in care of the funeral home.
