He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Underwood and Dorothy Underwood (Shell); and his brother Dick Underwood. He is survived by: his sons, Christopher Underwood (Sara Hamilton) and David Underwood (Shelby); his siblings, Jim Underwood (Mechelle) of Atchison, KS, John Underwood (Mario) of Atchison, KS, Linda Underwood of Atchison, KS and Barb Griffin (Rodney) of Atchison, KS; his sister-in-law Melinda Underwood; and his granddaughter Hannah Underwood.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Becker - Dyer - Stanton Funeral Home (800 Kansas Ave, Atchison, KS 66002). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the Evergreen Cemetery and may be sent in care of the funeral home.
