He is survived by: his wife Diana Lee Scholz; his children, Michele Janorschke (John) of St. Joseph, Missouri, Mark Rooney of Atchison, Kansas, Martina Breneiser (Chris) of Mesa, Arizona and Melinda Whigham (Gregg) of Starkville, Mississippi; his grandchildren, Justin, Jacqueline and Jessica Janorschke; his children, Hope, Hattie, Hannagan Rooney, Andrew, Ben Whigham and Emma Whigham Uhrich (Steffen); his siblings, Betty Mickey (John) of Fort Collins, Colorado, Patti Hayden (Mike) of Lawrence, Kansas, Rodney Rooney (Linda) of Culbertson, Nebraska and Bradley Rooney (Kris) of Trenton, Nebraska.; and his siblings-in-law, Maxine Rooney of Bryan, TX, Francis Scholz (Nancy) of Atchison and Mark Scholz (Julie) of Atchison.
