The memory of Rose Gerdes of Atchison, Kansas, who passed away on January 20, 2026 at the age of 93, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Fritz Hagen and Georgia Hagen (Gearhart); her son Joseph Gerdes; her granddaughter Adina Adamson; and her brothers, Don Hagen and Fritz Hagen.
She is survived by: her children, John Gerdes (Sandra) of Wichita, KS, Pamela Adamson, Leslie Laviana (Joe) of Dunedin, FL and Kristin Hyde (Tony) of Leavenworth, KS; and her sister Barbara Surritt of Atchison, KS. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews, and great-great grandchildren.
