Ruthanna Keimig Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ruthanna Keimig of Atchison, Kansas, who passed away on July 22, 2025 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Julius Handke and Helena M. Handke (Watowa); and her brothers, Donald Handke, Eugene Handke and Leo Handke.
She is survived by: her sons, Jerry Keimig (Judy) of Kansas City, MO and Donald Keimig (Rita) of Atchison, KS; and her sister Leona Busenbarrick of Atchison, KS. She is also survived by five grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 28th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the St. Louis Church (11321 Morton Rd, Atchison, KS 66002). A rosary will be held on Monday, July 28th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 10:50 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, July 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, July 28th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Mt. Calvary Cemetery (10255 KS-7, Atchison, KS 66002).
Memorial contributions are suggested to St. Louis Church or the Medicalodge Activity Fund and may be left in care of the Arensberg-Pruett Funeral Home.
