It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Scott Dryden of Atchison, Kansas, who passed away on October 26, 2025, at the age of 59, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though Scott has departed this earthly realm, his legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May his spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.
He was predeceased by: his father James Scott Dryden; and his great-nephew Kipton Scott Bowen. He is survived by: his mother Brenda Dryden (Bomberger); his wife Anna Dryden; and his siblings, Sheli Cook and Darrin Dryden (Jennifer). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Arensberg-Pruett Funeral Home (208 N 5th St, Atchison, KS 66002). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 at 11:45 AM at the Cummings Cemetery (2333 McPherson Rd, Cummings, KS 66016).
