She was predeceased by: her parents, Velma Burgard (Doolittle) and Virgil Burgard. She is survived by: her daughter Cyreesa Windsor (Mark) of Atchison; her granddaughter Averie Chapman (John); her great grandchildren, Miller of Fairway, Kansas. and Reese Chapman of Fairway, Kansas.; her sibling's children, Gregory Burgard (Brenda) of New Mexico, Debra Wessel (David), Linda Tovrea (Larry) of New Mexico and Kathy Hall of Kansas City, Missouri; her great-nieces and great-nephews, Zachary Emmendorfer (Haylie) of St. Joseph, Kristopher Wessel (Claudia) of New Mexico, Adam Tovrea (Jessica) of New Mexico, Cameron Burgard of New Mexico, Jorden Burgard of New Mexico, Michelle Stegmann of Missouri and Nichole Stegmann of Arizona; and her sister-in-law Helen Hall of DeKalb.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Becker - Dyer - Stanton Funeral Home (800 Kansas Ave, Atchison, KS 66002). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
To honor her memory, contributions are suggested to the Atchison County Historical Society for the Farmington Christian Church Preservation initiative.
