He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Womacks and Louise Womacks (Kampschroeder); and his sister Carmen. He is survived by: his wife Ruby Ellen Womacks of Atlanta; his sister Jeanine Thompson of Mt Juliet, TN; his sons, Todd of Wichita, Mark (Michelle) of Atlanta and Kirk (Nicci) of Pevely, MO; and his grandchildren, Nicole (Matt), Kyle (Chandler), Kerstin (Lance), Micah (Alejandra), Matthew (Gera), Blake (Anna), Brady (Cailey) and Cara. He is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Miles Funeral Service (4001 E 9th Ave, Winfield, KS 67156). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
A memorial has been established in Larry's name for the Atlanta Fire District. Contributions may be made through the funeral home.
