She was predeceased by: her parents, Russell Elmer and Helen Valaria Day (Welch); her husbands, George Macon and Jack Langston; and her children, John Macon and Brenda Safe.

She is survived by: her children, Betty, Michael Macon (Karen) of Winfield and Marla Hestilow (Ron) of Moore, Oklahoma. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
