He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Thompson and Willa Mae Thompson (Sexson); his sister Eulela Mae "Lee" Beutler (Melvin); his brother-in-law Jim Erskin; and his stepson Bill Kent Hager.
He is survived by: his wife Wanda Hager (Parker); his children, Randy Thompson (Lisa) of Sharon, KS, Robert Thompson of Medicine Lodge, KS and Cathy Dunn (Mike) of Leavenworth, KS; his sister Joyce Erskin of Wichita, KS; and his stepchildren, Mike Hager of Rogers, AR and Brenda Briggeman (Roy) of Emporia, KS. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
