He was predeceased by : his parents, Elmer Carrey and Louise Rood (Raute); his wife Deena Krymis; and his siblings, Ruby Jennings and Robert Rood.
He is survived by : his children, Sandra Elizabeth Rood (Tyler) and John Robert Rood (Michelle); and his grandchildren, Isaac Miller, Quincy Greenrood and Theodore Greenrood.
