It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carolyn Bernadine Engelbert of Augusta, Kansas, who passed away on March 29, 2025, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Veronica Schutz (Thummel) and Nickolas Schutz; her husband Bob of John's Catholic Church; her children, Robert Eugene Engelbert, Jr., Lawrence "Larry" Joseph Engelbert and Donna Sue Crowley; and her siblings, Eugene, Lawrence Schutz, Angeline Dungy and Helen Eilert.
She is survived by: her granddaughters, Diann, Donna and Debra; her daughters, Diann Zimmerman (Rex) of Kiowa, KS and Deb Tanner (Bruce) of Olathe, KS; and her son-in-law Dean Crowley of Andover, KS. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
