He was predeceased by: his parents, Marjorie Elaine (Rutherford) and George "Pat" Loraine Small; his siblings, George Small and Patricia Lies; and his half-siblings, William McNiel, Candice Watkins and Debra Cornwall.
He is survived by: his wife Virginia M. Small (Smith); his children, Rita Lewis (Jay) of Douglass and David Rusty Small of El Dorado; his granddaughter Stephanie McCrary (Sean); his great grandchildren, Elijah, Ben and Violet McCrary; and his half-siblings, Rick McNiel of Roanoke, VA, Casandra Allen of Arkansas and Michelle Norrik of Wichita.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, July 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Haverhill Christian Church (10275 SW Haverhill Rd, Augusta, KS 67010). The inurnment will be held on Friday, July 11th 2025 at the Elmwood Cemetery (501 12th Ave, Augusta, KS 67010).
