We are sad to announce that on July 16, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Doctor Melodee Rae Armfield of Augusta, Kansas. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Doctor Melodee Rae leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Vera Brice and Raymond Brice of El Dorado; and her sister Vera Anne Smith. She is survived by: her husband Mark Armfield; her grandchild Sylvee Dye; and her siblings, Kyle Brice and Susan Unruh.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 20th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Headley Funeral Chapel (813 State St, Augusta, KS 67010). A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 21st 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Augusta United Methodist Church (2420 Ohio St, Augusta, KS 67010).

Memorial donations may be made to the Augusta United Methodist Church 2420 N. Ohio Augusta, KS 67010 to be used for the Chancel Choir.
