He was predeceased by: his parents, Ansel Tener and Lillian Tener (Murry); and his former wife Janice Tener (Battershell). He is survived by: his children, Monique Tener of Orlando, FL and Brent Tener (Stacy) of Brentwood, TN; his grandsons, Mitchell Tener of Arlington, TX and Bryson Tener of Athens, GA.; his daughter Debra Slavik (Richard); his grandchildren, Jessica Mallon (Rhett), Braxton Barr, Jovonne Barr and Jadyn Barr; his great grandchildren, Gentry Mallon, Beau Mallon and Rosella Barr; and also Rodney Barr (Tracy). He is also survived by friends and relatives.
The family requests no flowers, and that memorials on behalf of Don be made to Botanica or to Haverhill Christian Church, with any donation to benefit youth programs.
