It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald Duane Haynes of Augusta, Kansas, who passed away on February 20, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, George Haynes of Washington and Lola Haynes (Sawyer); his wife Viola Haynes; and his children, Teddy James Haynes and Dana Darlene Haynes.

He is survived by : his close friend Katherine Atkins; and his children, Donald Duane Haynes Jr. of Beloit, Terry Dean Haynes of Augusta, Kansas and Trudy Diane Haynes of Douglass, Kansas. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
