He is survived by: his wife Connie Thurman (Souder); his children, Tiffani Thurman of Wichita, KS and Nate Thurman (Kandice) of Leawood, KS; his grandchildren, Brock Thurman, Brennan Flax, Kimber Thurman and Kaptin Thurman; his nephew Dave Hughes (Laura); and his great-niece Alyssa Frutchey.
