With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Edward Lyle Freeman of Augusta, Kansas, who passed away on August 5, 2025 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Eva Leona (Shafer) and Ivanho Freeman; his son John; and his brothers, Harold, Earl and Warren Freeman.
He is survived by: his wife Tokie Freeman (Ono); his children, Ivan Freeman (Rosemary) and Mary Goodwin; his daughter-in-law Alison Freeman; and his grandchildren, Adam Goodwin (Melissa), Erin Claflin (Shaun), Kelly Geiger (Matt), Sean Freeman (Maya), Stephen Freeman (Alicia), Paul Freeman, Julia Freeman and Daniel Freeman. He is also survived by 10 great grandchildren.
