Though Franklin may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Franklin touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Farrell Edwards and Gereda Edwards (Sohn); his daughter Rhonda Edwards; and the parent of his child Shirley Edwards. He is survived by: his wife Mavis Edwards; his brother Tracy Edwards; his children, Echo Edwards-Wentz (Steve), Erin Anderson (Rod), Erol Edwards and Robert Edwards (Lisa); and his stepchildren, Michael Denney, Michele Neumaier (John) and Melissa Blea (Joseph). He is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, June 10th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Central Baptist Church (7421 SW Church Rd, Augusta, KS 67010).
