He was predeceased by: his parents, Jean Violet Fisher (Gansberg) and George William Dieter, Jr.; and his brothers, John and Tom Dieter. He is survived by: his wife Linda Dieter (Love); his children, Eric Dieter (Jennifer) and Monika Jones; his stepsons, Charles Kingsley and Russel Kingsley; his siblings, Daniel Dieter (Dodie), Diane Gansberg, Pam Lowe (David), Anita (Ray Bailey), Kim Dieter, Sandy Moshier (Walter) and Carla Kibler (Troy); his grandchildren, Jayson Jones, Jessica Pectol, Chad Kingsley (Jasmin) and Kirk Drouiliard (Jasa); his great grandchildren, Kyra, Luke Pectol, Wade, Adriana Kingsley, Nina Mendez, Andrea, Lillie, Jaxon, Silver and Marianna Drouiliard; and his grandchildren, Violet and Everley Ramsay.
A memorial service was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Headley Funeral Chapel (813 State St, Augusta, KS 67010). A burial was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 at the Elmwood Cemetery (501 12th Ave, Augusta, KS 67010).
