He was predeceased by: his mother Betty Phillips (Schmale); his stepfather Sam Phillips; and his grandparents, Edwin and Ruth Schmale. He is survived by: his wife Betty; his sons, Lance Hilton (Karla) of Augusta, KS and Chad Hilton (Jamie) of Newton, KS; his grandchildren, Tiffany Hilton, Cassidy Hilton and Parker Hilton; his brother Dan Hilton of Clay Center, KS; and his sister-in-law Carol Walter (Larry).
