He was predeceased by : his parents, Florence M Cox and Clarence J Cox Jr.; and his siblings, Dennis Cox, Roy Cox, Wesley Cox, David Cox and Jeannie Burrows.

He is survived by : his wife Phyllis Cox; his children, Ray Cox (Edna) and Sherry Tillery (Pratt); his siblings, James Cox, Terry Cox, Larry Cox and Carol Ann Johnson (Bob); his grandchildren, Chelsea Cartland (Bryce), Michael Cox (Chelsea), Stephany Fehrenbacher, Sabrina Fehrenbacher and Brandon Fehrenbacher; and his great grandchildren, Aubrey, Easton, Caiden, Jaxon and Enzo.
