He was predeceased by : his parents, Flora Katherine (Lauener) and Charles Woodward Haas; his siblings, Jack Charles Haas, Bill Dean Haas, Bobby Dewain Haas, Floyd Benny Haas and Thelma Maxine Wymore; and his half-brothers, Harold Haas (Nieman), Harlen Haas (Nieman) and Elvin Haas (Nieman).

He is survived by : his wife Karen K. Haas (Kasson); his children, Richard Allen Graen, Lloyd Denny Haas, Jr. (Jamie), Kevin Dale Haas (Kristine), Debra Mae Fogel (Graen) and Lora Katherine Byrnside (Clay); and his grandchildren, Trudy Jo, Megan, David, Blake, Samantha, Ashley, Abigail, Kayce and Caleb. He is also survived by 5 great grandchildren.
