He was predeceased by: his parents, Helen Sims (McAfee) and Willard Sims; and his brothers, Jim and Tom Sims. He is survived by: his wife Joyce Sims (Simon); his sons, Lee Sims (Erica) of Afton, OK and Randy Sims of Augusta, KS; his sisters, Barbara Lyon of Long Beach, CA and Beverly Cheslic of Augusta, KS; his sister-in-law Cindy Swan; and his grandchildren, Keeton, Hallie, Ace, Sammy and Evan Sims.
