With sadness, we share the passing of Shirley G. Hollis of Augusta, Kansas. Shirley, born on October 22, 1938, passed away on September 21, 2026. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Shirley G. Hollis to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Lee Johnson and Martha Lucille Johnson (Skelton); her husband David Hollis; and her siblings, Frank Johnson, Bobby Johnson, Jim Cary, Hubert Cary and Mary Evelyn Johnson.
She is survived by: her children, Belinda McKay, Allen Webster, Leisa Wessels and Terry Hollis; and her brother David Johnson. She is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Carlson Funeral Home (200 S Star St, El Dorado, KS 67042). A burial will be held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Sunset Lawns Cemetery (2100 Sunset Rd, El Dorado, KS 67042).
In lieu of flowers, Shirley's wishes are that any memorial donations be made out to "I Will Go Ministries," in care of Josh Humig.
