Terry Wayne Smart Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Terry Wayne Smart of Augusta, Kansas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 7, 2025 at the age of 72. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Terry Wayne Smart to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Marion Eugene and Rogene Mae Smart (DeWeese); his brother Roger Smart; and his sister-in-law Jean Teter-Thomas. He is survived by: his wife Barb Smart of Augusta; his children, Brian (Jamie Smart) of Augusta and Leslie (James Frame) of Augusta; his grandchildren, Jacob Smart, Maddie Smart, Bailey Bohon and Gavin Bohon; his great grandchild Kash Barnett; his sister Martha McAdoo; his brother-in-law Jack James; and his sibling's children, Stacey McAdoo, Matt McAdoo, Brant James and Clint Connor.

Visitation was held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Dunsford Funeral Home (201 E 5th Ave, Augusta, KS 67010). A funeral service was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Prairie Hills Southern Baptist Church (9959 SW Pampas Rd, Augusta, KS 67010).

Memorial Contributions be made out to the Prairie Hills Southern Baptist Church or the Augusta Volunteer Fire Department, left in care of the Dunsford Funeral Home.
