It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Linus Henry Deters of Baileyville, Kansas, born in Axtell, Kansas, who passed away on January 15, 2026, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Reva (Droge) of Mary's Catholic Church; and his siblings, Clarence, Leonard Deters, Henrietta Deters, Dolores Schmitz, Evelyn Olberding, Rita Schmitz, Dorothy Cain and Elizabeth "Betty" Kramer.
He is survived by: his children, Gregory Deters (Denise) of Centralia, KS, Jean Mosher (Dale Blanton) of Topeka, KS, Sheila Lewis (Rod) of St. Petersburg, FL, Darrin Deters (Cheryl) of Baileyville, KS and Debbie Berkley (Don) of Lenexa, KS.. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren, including 3 granddaughters and 13 grandsons, and 24 great-grandchildren, including 3 great-granddaughters and 21 great-grandsons.
Memorials may be made in Linus's name to Sacred Heart Hall Building.
