He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin H. Richter and Bertha M. Richter (Steenbock); his siblings, Alice Lund and Arlo Richter; and his brother-in-law Myron Lund.
He is survived by: his sisters, Twila Olson (Glen) of Ringsted, Marcene Richter of Leonardville, Lois Grittman (Dean) of Topeka and Sherre Johnson (Lowell) of Topeka. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
