He was predeceased by: his parents, Roman Schild and Pauline Schild (Schulte); his wives, Charlotte and Virginia Pilkington; his children, John Schild, Robert Schild and Darlene Schild; and his siblings, Mary, Rose, Ann, Yvonne, Leon and Michael Schild.
He is survived by: his children, Harold Schild (Sarah) of Parsons, Michael Schild (Christina) of Marysville, Mark Schild of Pittsburg, Erwin Dannels (Carol) of Yoder and Kathy Schild of Chanute; and his siblings, Marvin Schild of Augusta, Kansas, Ivan Schild of Augusta, Kansas, Bernard Schild of Humboldt, Kansas., Carolyn Nuessen (Leon) of Gravette, Arkansas and Karen Rice of Grain Valley, Missouri.. He is also survived by Ten grandchildren, One great-grandchild.
