She was predeceased by: her parents, Gilbert Wise and Bernice Wise (Hill); her husband Marvin D. McDowell; her son-in-law Jim Brockert; her grandson Aaron McDowell; her great grandchild Patrick Miller; her brothers, Arthur "Red" Wise and Warren Wise; and her brother-in-law Bill Brown.
She is survived by: her children, Janet Brockert of Eloy, AZ., Mike McDowell (Kim) of Linwood, KS. and Tim McDowell (Donna) of Bonner Springs, KS.; and her sister-in-law Mary Wise of Basehor, KS.. She is also survived by six grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.
