In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Cody leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though Cody may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He is survived by: his mother Sarah Herring; his father-in-law Andrew; his father Jason Lamping; his grandparents, Jo-Ann, Denny DeMotte and Sandra Lamping; his siblings, Lane Lamping and Mayley Lamping; and his stepbrothers, Caleb, Dayton and Emmitt Herring.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 26th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the First Baptist Church of Basehor (1410 N 155th Terrace, Basehor, KS 66007). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 at the Glenwood Cemetery.
