He was predeceased by: his wife Cathy Bowen. He is survived by: his children, Buddy J. Bowen of Bonner Springs and Amber Bowen of Lawrence, Kansas; his siblings, Robert Bowen of Eudora, Kansas and Debbie Ring of De Soto, Kansas; and his grandchildren, Nova and Jay. He is also survived by his family, friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM at the Walnut Grove Bible Church (16766 Cantrell Rd, Bonner Springs, KS 66012). A celebration of life was held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
