He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Swartz and Lela Swartz; his siblings, Bill (Patricia) and Joyce Bachtel; his niece Janet Matthews; his uncle Cecil Swartz (Wilma); his cousin Lara Jones (Dick); his extended family Don Stiles; and his cousin Debbie Hamilton.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Swartz; his children, Kent Swartz and Heather Drake (John); his sisters, Diane Nixon (Dennis) and Cheryl Matto (Julius); his brother-in-law Don Bachtel; and his cousin Linda Morris-Stiles. He is also survived by his 8 grandchildren.
Additionally, donations may be directed to the Risen Savior Foundation Fund for the purpose of laying a stone in his honor.
