Loretta M. McCormick Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Loretta M. McCormick of Bavaria, Kansas, born in Leechburg, Pennsylvania, who passed away on May 31, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, August Vigna and Theresa Vigna (Vota); her son Larry Cockroft; her brother Bob Vigna; her husband George McCormick; and her granddaughter Blair.
She is survived by: her former husband Richard L. Cockroft, Sr.; her son Richard Cockroft Jr. (Laura Hopkins-Cockroft) of Bavaria; her granddaughter Ashley Strange; her great grandchild Lily Strange of Salina; her daughter Sandra Choitz (Dean) of Ellsworth; her grandson Ethan Choitz of Concordia; and her great grandchildren, Cayden, Reagyn and Rhett. She is also survived by family but all the extended family & friends.
Lori's wishes were to have a private burial and any Memorials be made to the Bavaria Community Cemetery, care of Ryan Mortuary, 137 N. 8th in Salina, KS 67401.
