With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ava Nichole Stidham of Baxter Springs, Kansas, born in Pittsburg, Kansas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 3, 2025 at the age of 16. In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Ava leaves behind and her impact on the lives of her loved ones. Though Ava may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the memories held dear by her family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
She was predeceased by: her father John Martin Stidham. She is survived by: her mother Natalie Jo Stidham; her siblings, Talia Fitzjohn, Martin Stidham, Kinsley Baker and Taylor Skinner; and her grandparents, Nadine, Lance Woods, Marty White (Kelly Thompson) and Harold "Scrap" Stidham.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 6th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Derfelt Funeral Home - Baxter Springs (328 E 12th St, Baxter Springs, KS 66713).
