He was predeceased by: his parents, William "Bill" McSherry and Pearl Kirkpatrick McSherry. He is survived by: his daughters, Shannon Hamilton (Michael) of Carthage, MO and Jennifer Carpender; his grandchildren, Shania Blevins of Fairland, OK, Scott Robison, Columbus, Kalista Crowe and Jarrett Friel; and his siblings, Robert McSherry, Richard McSherry, Sherry Poulson and Mary Correy.

Visitation will be held on Friday, August 8th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Derfelt Funeral Home - Baxter Springs (328 E 12th St, Baxter Springs, KS 66713).
