With sadness, we share the passing of Nancy Rae Hefley of Baxter Springs, Kansas. Nancy, born on October 7, 1936, passed away on August 8, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Floyd Spence and Pearl Spence; her in-laws, Hobart and Bertha Hefley; her brothers, Robert Spence and Kenneth Spence (June); and her siblings-in-law, Jack Hefley (Rose) and Norma Jean Petree.
She is survived by: her husband Hobart Hefley (Ray); her children, Kathy Carnahan of Baxter Springs, KS and Benny Hefley (Tricia) of Sedalia, MO; her grandchildren, Amy Snyder (Joshua) of Baxter Springs, KS, Michael Carnahan (Denise) of King, NC and Steven Carnahan of Baxter Springs, KS; her great grandchildren, Kayla Snyder, Kyle Snyder, Brice Carnahan and Spencer Carnahan; and her sister Mary Adkins (Craig). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
