He was predeceased by : his son Christopher Godfrey; and his siblings, Leonard, John, Robert, Evelyn and Eleanor.

He is survived by : his wife Karen Godfrey (Hunter); his daughter Shannon Moore of Baxter Springs, KS; and his brothers, William Godfrey (Lois) of Florida and Arthur Godfrey of New Jersey. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Memorial donations may be made to the Salvation Army in care of the funeral home.
