Janice touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur F. Rueger and Beatrice L. Rueger (McMahon); and her siblings, Joann Heiman and Jim Rueger. She is survived by: her husband Lynn Holthaus of Malachy's Catholic Church; her children, Debra Mayes (Larry), David Holthaus (Leslie), Doug Holthaus and Dennis Holthaus; her brother John Rueger; and her grandchildren, Kelli Govert (AJ), Kashli Diedrich (Rex), Holly Holthaus, Diane Mayes, Rachel Holthaus and Nick Mayes.

A memorial fund has been established and will be designated later.
