It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara J Smith-Kropf of Bel Aire, Kansas, born in Wilson, Oklahoma, who passed away on November 27, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, William Henry and Annie Mae Nordman (Chance); her former life partner Jerry Smith; and her daughter-in-law Sharon Smith. She is survived by : her husband John Kropf; her children, Terry Smith of Wichita, Kansas and Sherri Newell of Wichita, Kansas; and her sister Betty Henderson of Ratliff City, Oklahoma. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

“She was a wonderful lady who I got to know while attending Westview Baptist Church. She always made you feel welcome when you went over to visit with her. I will miss her.
