Though Cecil may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, his essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charley Schlotthauer and Josephine Schlotthauer (Haas) of Durham, KS.; his sister Maxine Drane; and his wife Therese Aaron. He is survived by: his children, Stan (Connie) of Oelwein, IA, Greg of New York, NY, Karen "Mikie" Antos (Louie) of Dallas, TX, Terry (Tom) of Omaha, NE, Amy Schlotthauer (Brain Harms) of Boulder, CO and Laura Moody (Troy) of Wichita. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren.
A Mass will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the St. Elizabeth Chapel at Catholic Care Center (6700 E 45th St N, Bel Aire, KS 67226).
