He was predeceased by: his mother Virginia Steele (Langan); his wife Virginia Jarmer of Zenda; his parent Glenn Steele; his siblings, Eugene Steele and Mary Hardick; his brother-in-law Mark Hardick; his sister Sally Noll; his siblings-in-law, Marvin Noll and Carolyn Steele; his great grandchild Hannah Steele; and his nephew Dave Hardick.
He is survived by: his children, Linda Thom (Mike), Janet Parker (Dwain), Eric Steele, Valerie Ma (Michael) and Sarah Steele; his grandchildren, Alexandra, Harrison, Sam, Alaina, Trent, Nathan, Garrett, Joseph, Maleiha, Ella, Madeleine and Amani; his stepgrandchildren, Malissa and Matthew; and his brother Kenneth Steele. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins.
