We announce the death of Joetta Vredenburg (Bel Aire, Kansas), who passed away on October 17, 2026. Joetta will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lloyd Veach and Josephine Veach; her siblings, Ralph Veach, Art Veach, Gerry Logan and Mel Veach; her son Kevin Steffen; and her granddaughter Tahlia.
She is survived by: her children, Thomas Steffen, Wayne Steffen (Linda), Alvin Steffen (Shelley), Patti Houston (Scott), David Steffen, Marvin Steffen (LaDeana), Steven Vredenburg, Joseph Vredenburg, Rose Babcock (Christopher) and Billy Vredenburg (Cindy); her grandchildren, Melissa, TJ, Joey, Michael, Shane, Sarah, Shawn, Sheree, Saul, Jessie, Kevin Jr., Dustin, Susan, Randy, Juanita, James, Kyle, Haley, Jennifer, Levi, Samantha, Angela, Russell, Danielle, Matt, Zack, Clayton, Gary, Katelyn, Cynthia, Emily and Austin; and her sisters, Connie Gruver and Dot Graham. She is also survived by many great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
A rosary will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 at 9:30 AM at the Church of the Resurrection Catholic Church (4910 N Woodlawn St, Bel Aire, KS 67220). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
A memorial has been established with Church of the Resurrection Catholic School, 4900 N. Woodlawn, Wichita, KS 67220.
