She was predeceased by: her parents, Lewis A. Rizek and Clara M. Rizek (Novak); her siblings, Illene Mae Blazek (Gerald) and Dr. Eugene Rizek (Eleanor); her son-in-law James Koch; and her great grandchild Steven Koch.
She is survived by: her husband Jim; her children, Allen Hurley (Barb) of Republic, Jackie Koch of Clyde, Nancy Sandell (Richard) of Republic and Marcy Blow (Clifford) of Burlington, Kansas.; and her grandchildren, Justin Hurley (Kari) of Torrington, WY, Amanda Walker of Shawnee, KS, Bethany Wallin (Clay) of Courtland, KS, Jeffrey Koch (Jennifer) of Clyde, KS, Julie Simpson (Kevin) of Overland Park, KS, Nolan Sandell of Republic, Nealy Sandell of Lincoln, NE, Morgan Millsap (Thad) of Van Buran, AR, Bridget McGuire (Kyle) of Lenexa and Jennifer Colbert (Kevin) of Burlington, KS. She is also survived by her 17 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild, nieces, nephews, and a community of friends.
