She was predeceased by: her parents, Joe Chopp and Emma Chopp (McDowell); her husband Don Slagle; and her siblings, Kenneth Chopp and Shirley Slagle.
She is survived by: her sons, Tim Slagle and Jim Slagle (Kim) of Sheridan, Wyoming; her grandsons, Joe Slagle (Ashley), Nick Slagle and Ryan Slagle; and her niece Sharon Larsen. She is also survived by one great grandson and two great granddaughters; special friends.
Memorials are suggested to the Belleville Wesleyan Church or Republic County Hospital-ISB.
