He was predeceased by: his parents, Clayton Cody and Vada Cody; his wife Georgia Cody; and his daughter Jessica Cody. He is survived by: his children, Charles Cody (Jennifer), Karen Nordhus (Jerry) and Rachel Weatherd (Danon); his grandchildren, Lisa, Lake, Jake, Makenzee, Jared and Sebastian; and his sisters, Irene Myers (Jim) and Ruby Roberts. He is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren.
